In the Message to the people “Strategy “Kazakhstan-2050” the President of the country Nursultan Nazarbayev set the task of creation on the basis of branch associations of independent system of confirmation qualification of experts. The state shouldn’t provide at the same time educational services and estimate their quality. Development of engineering education and modern technical specialties for economy of Kazakhstan, increase of professional level of engineers, their certification according to the international requirements – priority activities of KAZSEE.
Acceptance of KAZSEE in the European federation of national engineering associations opens new opportunities for Kazakhstan. According to the President of Kazakhstan Association engineering education, the academician Galym Mutanov, now domestic experts of the technical-science sphere, engineering and technologies not only will be able to confirm the qualification and to receive the European certificate, but also will have possibility of inclusion in the Register of the European engineers (EurEng). Thus, they will become full participants of integration processes in the field of preparation of engineering training. Their possibility of obtaining the engineering card (EngCard) , allowing to carry out professional activities in the EU.
KazSEE works closely with leading universities in the country, developing and implementing new educational programs that meet international standards, conducts accreditation of educational programs, certification, and qualification of graduates And also participates in the International Kazakh-Indo-US project to improve the skills, training and retraining of university teachers of natural science and technical subjects, the Tempus project “The quality of engineering education in Central Asia.”
KazSEE established cooperation with the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE), which providing educational programs for awarding a European quality EUR-ASE Label. Together with the International Society for Engineering Education (IGIP) started work on the preparation and certification of teachers of high schools. FEANI is a member of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO), officially recognized by the European Commission as an expert in the field of European engineering education and has consultative status with UNESCO, UNIDO and the Council of Europe.
